Certainly. The NAE is hosting a “Forum on Proposed Revisions to ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) General Criteria on Student Outcomes and Curriculum (General Criteria 3 and 5)” at the Academies’ Keck Center in Washington, DC on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Forum will be webcast live the day of as well as recorded and made available after the event. The webcast and information about participating virtually will be available on the event page (http://www.nae.edu/Projects/148917/148931.aspx).

The Forum will engage 80-100 participants from the diverse stakeholder communities involved in engineering education (primarily at the higher ed level) and invested in the engineering workforce. Speakers and participants will represent ABET, engineering societies, employers, industry, engineering schools (faculty and administration), engineering education research, and policy. The Forum will be structured to stimulate and facilitate a productive dialogue about the EAC’s process and proposed changes to ABET criteria 3 and 5.
