After serving eight years in The United States Army as an Environmental Science Officer, Jacqueline became an elementary teacher in the Prince George’s County Public School System. Throughout her career in education, Jacqueline has served in a variety of capacities including instructor for a teacher induction program, science curriculum writer, and reviewer for the Maryland Science Assessment. Most recently, Jacqueline was a STEM Coordinator for Langley Educational Campus in the District of Columbia Public Schools. Nationally recognized for her passion for STEM in K-12 classroom, Jacqueline was on the writing team that developed the Next Generation Science Standards. A graduate of South Carolina State with a degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Science and Technology from Loyola University of Maryland, Jacqueline has been a consultant for numerous organizations focusing on STEM and digital media.
