Christine Angel Danger
Math and Science Coordinator, Hillsborough County Public Schools
Biography
I am currently the Math and Science Partnership (MSP) Coordinator for Hillsborough County Public Schools. In this position I coordinate professional development in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for teachers of grades 3-12 and supervise STEM curriculum development. This includes interviewing and hiring curriculum developers and trainers, arranging locations, handling enrollment, pay, and in-service points of participants, ordering materials, observing and evaluating lesson field tests, and advertising the training opportunities. I also work with Polk County School District and University of South Florida to develop and provide teachers with professional development opportunities. As the MSP coordinator I have overseen the development and implementation of our district’s first Teacher Certification Readiness Courses in physics, chemistry, and high school mathematics, as well as many workshops in STEM, mathematics, and science for teachers in grades K-12.
