Mark Schroll serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships for Project Lead The Way. He was hired by PLTW in 2010 to continue his work to design and develop the Innovation Portal and develop connections for PLTW students and opportunities for recognition. From 2007 to 2010 Schroll served as STEM Education Program Coordinator for the Kern Family Foundation of Waukesha, WI. From 1989 to 2007 Schroll taught technology courses at the Science Academy of South Texas and was part of the original team that authored the capstone PLTW course entitled "Engineering Design and Development". Schroll also served as a Master Teacher/Teacher Trainer for the courses entitled "Digital Electronics" and "Engineering Design and Development" from 2000 to 2007. Schroll has served as a member of the National Academy of Engineering's Committee on K-12 Engineering Education that produced the 2010 report "Understanding and Improving K-12 Engineering Education in the United States". Schroll holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology Education from Saint Cloud State University in MN and a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University in Washington D.C.
