Previous Next NGSS Engineering Design Resources PostedWednesday, October 22, 2014 at 5:44 PM Greg Pearson LinkEngineering partner NSTA has enlisted the help of expert “curators” from around the country to identify high-quality resources that will help K–12 teachers implement the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Middle school engineering design resources are being collected by Kevin J. B. Anderson, a STEM education and assessment consultant for Cooperative Education Service Agency #2 in Wisconsin. High school resources are being collected by Cheryl Simmers, the math/science/technology department chair at the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology (ARGS) in Petersburg, Virginia. To guide their decision making, Anderson and Simmers are using a rubric, EQuIP, developed jointly by LinkEngineering partners Achieve and NSTA. The reviews will be available on the NGSS@NSTA Hub in late fall 2014. Previous Next Previous Next Add a Comment Add a Comment Notify on new posts Add a Link Save Close ×
