In this 8-minute video, LinkEngineering member Paul Andersen describes the concept of defining and delimiting an engineering problem, an NGSS disciplinary core idea.

Defining and delimiting an engineering problem is one of five Disciplinary Core Ideas for engineering, technology, and the application of science in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).  Paul Andersen, a high school teacher in Bozeman, Montana, has created similar videos for each disciplinary core idea in the NGSS on his website, www.bozemanscience.com.

Anderson has created hundreds of YouTube science tutorials that have been viewed millions of times by students around the world.  In 2012 Paul was selected by YouTube as one of ten YouTube Edu Gurus.
