A multi-grade-level curriculum project for K-12 students based on actual projects undertaken by US engineering students in Western Kenya. In addition to engineering design, the curriculum address concepts in science, mathematics, and history/social studies.

Engineers Without Borders USA (ewb-usa.com), in collaboration with the American Society for Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers, created the curriculum based on the challenge the EWB students faced developing a self-sufficient water supply for several thousand people in the rural farming village of the Namawanga area in western Kenya.
