Gayle Gibson, DuPont (Retired) asked Hadi Nasrabadi, Texas A&M; University PostedTuesday, August 15, 2017 at 1:45 PM Hi Hadi, I am an Aggie as well (ChE 1983). I am head of Engineering at DuPont and on the Committee that is steering LinkEngineering. Can you tell me why you joined the site? 1 Answer Reset Sort By Default Hadi Nasrabadi , Texas A&M; University Posted Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 3:47 PM Hi Gayle, Thanks for your message. I am glad to hear from a successful Aggie engineer. I am an assistant professor of petroleum engineering at Texas A&M; and my area of research is molecular thermodynamics of nanoconfined fluids. I joined LinkEngineering as part of my education outreach plan. I noticed many teachers (at various levels) are members of the LinkEngeering. My plan is to develop molecular simulation modules based on an existing education software called Molecular Workbench (http://mw.concord.org/modeler/) and share these interactive modules with the education community in the LinkEngineering. My objective is to make complex concepts of molecular thermodynamics easily accessible for high school/middle school students and hopefully encourage them to study engineering at the college level.
